Thought I’d drop an update as to what is happening in the matt-o-sphere.

Knee deep in the research aspect of my Strategic Campaigns project. For some ungodly reason I elected myself as the research director for my group so I’m stuck finalizing all of our research stuff. It is not that I don’t enjoy it, it is just that its tedious….and there are times when I just don’t care.

Work wise things are ok. Edge is going well, Apple is in a slump and the freelance stuff is so-so. Looking for a big break of a project to open up at any point. Thinking about revisiting my budy Ben’s screenplay entitled “Finding Faithe.” We attempted to shoot it last summer, however our cast was not very cooperative. We had scheduled out all of our shooting for the weekends hoping that people would be able to free their schedules up and commit to the project. We got around 2 or 3 good days of filming in before the project feel apart. Now, I’ll admit part of that was my fault and inexperience attemping to direct/shoot and schedule the project….but I’d really like another go at it. The only problem is I’m graduating in the spring, and I’m going to need a job to start paying off some of those damn loans….so how do I balance the two. Not sure. Hopefully I can swing a full time job @ Edge (which would be great…good company with fun employees), and shoot the flick on the side. I don’t know….I just want to create something again…
