Eating good…at the neighborhood

Just a quick post as to what’s going on on our great trip. We got into town and went the girlfriend’s aunt’s play. It is absolutely amazing! Not only is peppered with great perfromances, but it is a great social commentary. It should do very well in LA.

After that we went to the “after party” and got hang out with some LA drama celebrities. I’ll be sure to post some pics, when we get them the gf’s dad. Needless to say we were up for over 26 hours Thursday. It was a long, but wondeful experience!

Yesterday we just bummed around downtown, checking out some of the local tourist traps and getting a wonderful meal at the local city market (check out the pic…the girlfriend and her dad are in the bottom left!) I love the things metropolitan life offers, and it doesn’t get any better than the market.

Today we are heading south, down to San Diego. It should be a good trip as we have nothing but used bookstores on the brain. Tonight we should be heading to the beach with “uncle bob” for some great beach and bbq!

LA is definitely a cool place to hang out and visit, but lord knows I’m ready to get back to larry-town! The smog alone weirds me out…the sky isn’t blue it is an awkward blue with a white hue. It is not the natural paradise campus is!
