NASA…

I don’t know if anyone noticed, but NASA has grounded all future shuttle missions due to debris that have fallen off of the fuel tanks during lift off in what was one of the most photographed events in aviation history. I love how just now we realized that putting cameras on our 2 billion dollar spacecraft was a good idea.
I just don’t understand why everyone is so shocked that 20-plus-year-old technology isn’t reliable. Come on US government and NASA, get your heads out of your collective a** and start innovating again. The shuttle program should have been over 10 years ago, it is antiquated technology. Would you want to trust your life in a vacuum to technology that is over 20 years old. Most people I know don’t even drive cars, and definitely don’t use computers that old, so why are we sending our best and brightest off into the cold, hard vacuum of space with broken down, beat up shit. Beats me.
