So getting away from posting has been kind of a weird deal.

My internet at home is still a little bit shady as I’m syphoning off what wifi signals I can find. As a matter of fact I get an awesome signal from the neighboring Holiday Inn (no Ben, I’m not actually living there)

Anyway, just wanted to jump in with a post to re-affirm my online presense. Not much has been happening around here, hence the lack of posts. While the move-in process is all but over, I’ve been feeling the after effects all week. I have been enjoying a bunch DVDs from netflix and the lawrence public library (which is a pretty lousy library by the way) this week. Just got done watching “For a Few Dollars More,” and while the productions values and dubbing on those Sergio Leone spaghetti westerns may be terrible, the use of music and close ups is incredible. I can’t really place my finger on why I like these Clint Eastwood “man with no-name” movies, but I really seem to be enjoying them. Plus, I like to laugh to myself that the man who just got done shooting like 50 bandits can also win an academy award for best picture.

Not much else happening here, my brother and his friends are coming through on their way back from the Twin Cities tonight. They went up to catch a couple of Twins-Red Sox games and chill with my aunt and uncle. Cool people, and a pretty cool little vacation. Oh yeah, and Mike D is on his way through tonight as well, so some kind of evening meal will be in order for the champion of all things Mike Dish.

Enough rambling, I just thought I’d post up something while I had wifi.
