There are few things in life that cannot be fixed by an evening of & via my Twitter feed.

Is it wrong?

August 13th, 2005 | Filed under Work

Every once in a while I get an itch to look around the KC job market and see what there is to offer in terms of Video Editing and Production jobs. Recently, I found a pretty cool ad agency that has its own in house production department. Sounds like a pretty good fit, and they were looking for videographers to boot. Add to the fact that they just bought a brand new Panasonic HD VariCam and it sounds like a decent place to look into.

I went to their gallery to check their work when I got an error message basically stating I couldn’t view the content because I was on a Macintosh.

Question: Is it wrong to not want to work somewhere just because they don’t share my beliefs in computing? If they don’t even put quicktime on their website, you can almost bet they aren’t editing on Macs…and that just kind of bums me out. I’m not saying I wouldn’t work some where that used PCs, I just don’t think locking out Macintosh (or Linux for that matter) Users is the practice of a good company on the web. Also the websites they made for their clients looked terrible. Oh well.
