There are few things in life that cannot be fixed by an evening of & via my Twitter feed.

I bought it.

November 2nd, 2005 | Filed under Life

I’m a fan boy, I’ll admit it. Gordo and I promised ourselves that we wouldn’t purchase Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith claiming that it would be a great thing to add to the always hard to create Christmas list for family and friends. You know the one you make with a bunch of stuff you don’t really want, but could probably use…like new pots and pans, or something like that??? Well this year we would be ready and throw Star Wars right up at the top of the list. Let’s just say it didn’t work out as planned.

The girlfriend and I swung by Target to pick up a few things and pillage the leftover Halloween candy, which was 50 percent off I might add. As we were wondering through the store I happen to glace over at a rack of DVDs with only two copies of the Widescreen version of Star Wars left. Some impulse in my mind was instantly triggered and I immediately grabbed a copy knowing that I needed it. I had tried to fight off the fan boy impulse of buying Star Wars on the first day it came out, heck I was even going to wait for Netflix to get it to me…but it couldn’t be helped. Needless to say Gordo caved as well, but what do you do?

As far as the film goes it really is a pretty decent action/adventure film and has a certain sense of closure to the Star Wars universe that I truly enjoy. Also, check out the deleted scenes as they do a great job of fleshing out some of the politics of the story. I definetly would have loved to see them in the final cut of the film.

It is a start of a new month and as always if you missed a couple of posts be sure to check out the October archives in order to catch up.

Also, I ended up caving and going with 24 as my television series of choice based on Gordo’s recomendations of the series and my recent lust for television drama. Thanks again to everyone who submited a show idea a couple of posts back.
