Traditions

So, after spending the better part of my evening last Tuesday (wow, that was a week ago) configuring my mobile blogging setup for the long, yet relaxing weekend at the parents house in Hutch, I didn’t post a damn thing. Not really sure as to why.
Overall it was a pretty good weekend. Drank to much at the Polo Lounge (one of the few bars in hutch were you won’t get in a fight), went hunting with my brother, dad and hank (the brothers puppy pictured at right), ate way to much of my mom’s food and the girlfriend’s pie. All in all it was a good weekend to give thanks.
As linked above I added another pictures page from our hunting extravaganza. Sadly we didn’t get anything (we were after pheasants) if for no other reason than we didn’t see anything! My brother and I have officially come to the agreement that the pheasant is a mythical bird, so we definitely need to get up to South Dakota and do some real hunting to refresh our memory.
Also, in case you haven’t noticed the site has been real flaky. Lack of redirection from the matthewkappenman.net and slow upload times with the .Mac service has lead me to look into other hosting options. Currently, I’m looking at procuring some space over at godaddy to see how a “real” hosting service feels. I’ll be sure to let everyone know, and I apologize for the speed bumps. If you’ve been reading since the days over at blogspot (or via the archives) you’re keenly aware that this entire site/weblog is an experiment in progress. So thanks for coming along for the ride and I hope everyone who celebrated the day of thanks had an enjoyable one.
