Sorry about the lack of posts but I attempted to unplug as much as possible over the holiday break. While I have a pretty easy blogging setup for posting on the road, hanging out with friends and family tends to take precedent over ranting and raving online. Even though we got back to Lawrence late last week, I’m just now getting reorganized in my offline life. Basically we had left town in a hurry in order to get back to “the hutch” in order to catch up with some old friends at some Christmas parties as well as take in the city tradition of luminaries. So when we returned to my apartment in order to get back to life in Lawrence, the whirlwind mess that was my apartment just about overwhelmed me.

Teressa (aka “the girlfriend”), however, is an organizational genius. Now, I’ve been “moved” into my apartment for over 6 months but I had yet to really give everything it’s specific place. That all changed when we tore up every room in it and managed to almost fill the dumpster at my apartment complex. I finally feel like I have finally “moved” into my apartment (especially my study) and everything definitely is in its right place.
