Happy blog-iversary

Today is the one year blog-iversary (anniversary) of this here website and weblog. We’ve been through a couple of permutations over the past year, but it has been one hell of a learning experience on the ins and outs of the web and HTML/CSS as well a great way to meet new people and exchange ideas. What started out as an easy way for Harper and I to spend a friday evening drinking a couple beers and lammenting that school started that week has turned into a “real” site. 180 posts (this one included) later it has been worth all the frustrating nights trying to understand why google wouldn’t index me, or how to make a picture render correctly. If you’re new to the site welcome, thanks for sticking around, if not what in the world are you still doing here?
