Back Home

January 17th, 2006 | Filed under Life

Well, after a weekend of what the girlfriend refers to as “playing car,” we are back in Lawrence while my truck is still in hutch. Needless to say the combined efforts of my father and the body shop could not revive my dead vehicle. So for the next couple of days I’ll be a passenger of my city in motion, which rocks.

Over the weekend I managed to finsh off Freakonomics, which is a good book and a great Christmas gift from my little brother. I’m not sure what I can say that hasn’t already been said around the blogosphere but check out my review here.

Hopefully I can get the truck back sometime later this week, but needless to say I’m about ready for a new car. Any suggestions?

Not sure exactly what type you were thinking but reliability and a resistance to breaking down spontaneously would be atop my list of features. :)

Yes, I think that would have to be at the top of my list….as well as a parts and labor warranty for all eternity….and maybe a good stereo.
