Monday moring….I sit here and wait for the cable company to come by my house. Shouldn’t this be the other way aroud? They are providing a service to me…therefore shouldn’t they arrive when I want them to be here? Instead, I have to take off an entire morning of gainful employment to sit, and wait for said company to come and take a simple filter off of on my cable line.

I realize that this is a little absurd, but there is some truth to the above statement.

Update: The nice cable man came by and removed said filter. Also, I seem to have a group of channels that are not part of my package. I informed the cable man of that, and he said that there was no way around recieving those channels due to the fact that I have Internet and basic cable. What a bummer. :) To bad they aren’t any channels that I actually would have wanted.

I thought that the West Wing was on Bravo, and when it wasn’t, I switched to NBC and saw that the President was going to speak. I :heart: Helen Thomas not only because of her history in the White House and her continual jabs at good ol’ Scotty McClellan, but I especially love her for the chutzpah that she shows on occasions such as today!
