Modern Folksology

Being that the last three posts have been political in nature, I thought I might put something up that is pure silly. I so meant to post this on St. Patty’s day last week, but I suck at blogging. A combination of work as well as the KU game (if you can call it that) conspired to cause me to forget it. What follows is a recording we* made one fall night with the help of a couple of pints back in 2002. Enjoy some classic Irish folks songs if you are feeling a little sad that the next Saint Patty’s day is 358 days away.
I would like to warn you that these recordings are in no way work safe, and include the noise and ramblings of the rest of the party. Plus they are a little bit unorganized as Jon forgets a verse or two but hey, its all in good fun. :)

And yes, I realize folksology isn’t a word…but it sounds good as a headline.
*We includes Gertken (mandolin), Jon Wesley (song leader), Harper, Mendenhall and everyone else in the room on shout chorus. Oh yeah, I’m in there yellling and playing guitar as well. Here is a link to some more of my musical endevours.
