Modern Folksology

Being that the last three posts have been political in nature, I thought I might put something up that is pure silly. I so meant to post this on St. Patty’s day last week, but I suck at blogging. A combination of work as well as the KU game (if you can call it that) conspired to cause me to forget it. What follows is a recording we* made one fall night with the help of a couple of pints back in 2002. Enjoy some classic Irish folks songs if you are feeling a little sad that the next Saint Patty’s day is 358 days away.
I would like to warn you that these recordings are in no way work safe, and include the noise and ramblings of the rest of the party. Plus they are a little bit unorganized as Jon forgets a verse or two but hey, its all in good fun. :)

And yes, I realize folksology isn’t a word…but it sounds good as a headline.
*We includes Matt G (mandolin), Jon Wesley (song leader), Harper, Mendenhall and everyone else in the room on shout chorus. Oh yeah, I’m in there yellling and playing guitar as well. Here is a link to some more of my musical endevours.
