Hilarious Apple Mod/Fix

I realized I hadn’t done a geeky/apple post in a while and as I was checking my feeds today I came across this great mod/fix to a G3 iBook. Teressa’s computer had this same problem a couple of months back, and it drove me nuts. However, we were lucky enough to fall inside of the 3-year-recall of the Logic Board and had the machine fixed free of charge. Josh Oakhurst, unfortunately, was not as lucky and missed the deadline for his machine by 20 days. Doing what any resourceful Mac-head would do, he took matters into his own hands and fixed the problem himself. Check out the hack here; iBook Logic Board Fix.
