The Camo-hats were free.

My brother came to town this weekend to pack up a few things in preparation for his moving up to KU (next fall and I can’t wait). Instead of just making it a quick trip/hang out he came up with the great idea to check out the Royals/Twins game as well as meet up with my former (his current) paint crew boss and his wife.

This is a photo of Steve enjoying a freezie pop as our seats for the game (while awesome) were 3 rows from being in the shade. Needless to say we sported the camo-hats and tried our best to stay cool. It was a great game if you are a Twins fan…which we are. :)

It was a great (but quick) weekend of hanging out with my brother and showing him some of the cooler things in Lawrence…including breakfast at Milton’s…really is there anything better?

Here are some pics of the three of us (the girlfriend went too) watching the Twins defeat the Royals. Nothing like watching your favorite team do some mighty damage on the home team. Unfortunately this was the last time the Twins will be in KC for the season, however there is always next year!

And yes, it was sunny and the camo-hats were free.
