This American Life Podcast!

Just an fyi, for the first week after the show airs you can download the podcast for free, and after that it is available for purchase on iTunes for 99 cents or you can just stream it from their website. It is about time Ira and crew got on the podcast band wagon. I guess audible and iTunes purchases are subsidizing the podcast, so be sure to buy one or two shows every once in a while…or just donate to your local NPR station…come on you know you want too.
Here is a link to the standard XML feed for the podcast or click on this link to add the show to your iTunes subscriptions. I was originally turned onto this show by my good friend Ben and it is hands down the best piece of audio production I hear every week. Not only is it good and hilarious but it can be very moving and emotional at times. What more could you ask of a radio show about real people?
Now if only Click ‘n Clack could get a feed going, then I could stop recording them over the internets with Radiolover (a great program for recording radio streams by the way) and just listen to the podcast.

Matt I love this show! Did you hear the one about the weapons/ammo traffiker (how do you spell that freaking word?) in Chicago that felt so guilty that he stuffed all his money into his possessions and sold them in an impromptu yard sale? It was great!
I’m also a huge fan of Wait! Wait! It gets me through the long days of data entry. I would kill for a Carl Kassell voice mail message.

Yeah, I heard that episode and it was incredible. My favorite part was that the guy doing the story wanted to tell the people to buy the couch….if even for 5 bucks just so they could get the money. It is literally my favorite show…I look forward to it more than even the television. :)
