Notes from the (thanksgiving) Underground
November 26th, 2006 | Filed under Blog, Random
Being that I haven’t posted in a while I figured I’d drop a quick list of notes/comments on the weekend that was.
- Bars in Hutchinson really need to go smoke free…cause Lord knows I can only handle a night of it and then I’m out of the loop when it comes to furthering the Hutchinson economy.
- KU B-ball finally started to look like a real team tonight…with players that actually show up and an x-factor (Wright) that will step up and make big plays.*
- You can really get a lot of work done with a Macbook and 4 days at your parents house.
- I have no tolerance for black-friday sales. I went friday morning and while all of my fellow shoppers found gifts or things for themselves I found nothing…zip, zero, zilch.
- Sleeping on a sofa sleeper starts to really suck after the 3rd night.
- I rule at pictionary.
- The girlfriend makes great pie….especially apple.
- Russell Robinson can block shots and make steals…and he’s just a little guy.*
- My brother’s dog, Hank, snores.
- Free laundry is great…even if you have to do it.
- I miss my girlfriend after only two days apart…she went back to Lawrence early due to work.
- ESPN dropped the feed for the b-ball game twice…both times when KU had the ball and it is driving me nuts.*
- We (KU) try really, really, really hard to lose b-ball games…just in case you were watching the overtime game.*
- It feels good to win a big game again.*
* Please note I made this list while watching the KU vs. Florida game.

So does that mean you got your MacBook??
that would be pretty cool .
I picked up Nintendo’s newest gaming system last Sunday, and it is pretty fun stuff. Right now I’ve only got one controller — but come over and check it out some time.
Wiiiiiiiiiiiii

Unfortunately I don’t have “my” Macbook…I just borrowed one from work for the weekend. Got a surprising large amount of work done. I’ll definitely have to come over and check out the Wii…my brother just got an Xbox 360 and it makes me o-so-jealous. Give me a call this weekend.
