I meant to post my New Years resolutions yesterday, but completing a couple of my resolutions got in the way. Being that one of my resolutions is to blog more, you can imagine the contradictions involved. Anyway, I hope everyone had a great (and safe) New Years and will continue to have great success in the year to come.

Now, without further adieu my illustrious list of resolutions. I realize it is the height of hubris to post ones resolutions online, however, it is a great record for me of what I’m trying to do and I can always look back at this post to see how I’m doing.

So here we go:

• Re-design this weblog…I spent over an hour yesterday sketching out my design.
• Learn CSS…The web is the future, or so I’ve been told.
• Live a clutter free life. The girlfriend and I spent most of last night cleaning out our closets’ in the hope of eliminating clutter and junk…so far so good.
• Read more. I’m down to less than one new book a month, got to make time to recharge the intellect.
• Learn Shake…I ordered Brinkmann’s book yesterday.
• Buy more music….I know this sounds silly but nothing inspires me more than good new music. It gives me a complete recharge.
• Make more music. Garageband, my guitar and my keyboard are calling my name.
• Write more. This includes blogging as well as scripts.
• Make more videos…in progress.

Well, there it is. Nothing epic such as world peace but rather some things that I’d like to work on to become a better more well rounded person. Also, for fun check out some of the photos from our New Years Eve bash. Got to see some old friends which is always great, and relive more than a few collegiate stories. As one friend put it, “you guys used to be a lot more fun.” Amen, but growing up a bit has its perks.
