Whether you are rockin’ the HD or not please check out a new program on the Discovery Channel entitled “Planet Earth.” This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen, as the show is basically one of the best documentaries ever produced about our planet. The first three episodes aired last night and some of the footage they shot blew me away. In fact some of it was so crystal clear that both Teressa and I were convinced that it had to be done with special effects and not real animals. Not only is the footage amazing but the editors were able to construct a story that humanizes the different animal species to a point where you actually care about whether the impala gets away from the hyena etc…

I thought about entitled this post OMG!BESTSHOWEVER!, but I figured that would be a bit immature. Seriously though, you need to see this show as a citizen of this here planet earth. Also, if you have an HD set it will be far and away the best picture you will ever see via HD cable. I have the first three episodes permanently stored on my HD DVR in order to show people the difference that HD can make in not only quality but telling a story.
