New Theme Day

I’ve been working on cobbling together a new look and feel for the site for quite some time now, and I think I’ve finally put together something workable. It is based on the Atlantik-Vintage theme, however my version is still a work in progress. I’ve got a little bit of work to do with the graphic at the top, navigation, as well as with formatting in the consuming and photos pages, oh and fixing up the bottom header and footer….but all in all I think it turned out pretty good. So if you’re reading the RSS feed feel free to check out the digs and if you’re reading it online let me know what you think. As I said it is a work in progress, but I got sick of not having all of my content in my test site and I wanted to see how it worked on the read deal. Also, I’ve had the same basic theme for over a year and it was time for change.

So sit back and I hope you enjoy the new look.

  • Pur-ty.

But I think it needs a small graphical flair or something in the upper-right of the main banner.

    Still, really nice.

  • Mike, thanks for the comment and you totally read my mind! I just can’t quite figure out what I want to put up top…maybe a picture of some sort. I really just wanted to get the site live so I could see what was breaking and what wasn’t. So far so good except for a few formatting issues.

p.s. I’m having fun with Timbuktu…look for my review sometime this weekend!

  • Je l’aime bien. Les couleurs sont tres jolis. Et en plus tu as mis un “link” a une site francaise!

You should come to Hutch the first full week of June and meet Joe. We’re making the trek out so he can meet Mom and Dad and see life outside of Michigan.

  • Hey Hil,

Thanks for the comment we would love to head back to the Hutch and meet up. Let us know the dates later on so that we can make sure Teressa is off of work that weekend. We can go do stuff in Hutch….like eat greasy and drink bad coffee! Yes!!
