Oh, RAM…how I love thee

Speaking of new computers, I just found out yesterday that while I was out romping around NAB the office ordered me a new Mac Pro (Quad-core). I had no idea it had been finalized and purchased until yesterday when I was handed these two glorious little black boxes. Now for Mac geeks like myself anything that says OWC on the outside is equivalent to that little blue box that women adore….only better.

So welcome 4 gigs of RAM, you will soon join the other gig in the box and the 512 meg X1900 graphics card to form the ultimate video-compositing-rendering-workstation. Have I ever mentioned that I love my job?
