Bike to Work Day
I was planning on biking to work this Friday (today) as the girlfriend no longer needs me to pick her up from campus when her school-to-work schedule was very tight. Now I’m free to take my two wheels the mile-and-a-half to work. It felt terrible in that I wasn’t riding to work more often, so I made sure today would be the day.
Turns out today is National Bike to Work day…so I won’t be the only one. Did I plan on doing it because of the so-called-holiday? No. Coincidence? I think not.
How ironic! It was just decided today that since neither the boyfriend nor I know anything about cars that we were obviously destined for bike riding and public transit. Of course, I know nothing about bikes, either — I just figure that they’re easier to understand than internal combustion engines. That’s a pretty artsy picture, too.

Thanks Hil. You know how creative bad camera phone pics of my bike in my messy studio @ work can be. It is just how I like to express myself artistically of course.
