Translation: No Fair.

Microsoft Office Delayed.

Translation: “No fair. You cheated. I’m taking my board and going home.”

I’m sure it has nothing to do with Apple selling 33% more Macs last quarter. I think someone’s a tad bit jealous and is flexing their muscles. I mean, it’s a word processor. Does it really take 4 years to develop?

While it is always fun to poke a stick at Microsoft, in this case, yeah, I know where they are coming from. Software can be incredibly complex, and the testing task is enormous for something as complex as the Office suite. Better take a little longer then to release something with significant bugs in my opinion.

I know. ;) And I’m not really one for conspiracy theories in regards to Microsoft and the Mac. They make way too much money on Office for the Mac to postpone it 6 months out of spite.

Although it is always fun to poke a stick at Microsoft. :)
