The Power

Never underestimate the power of a good-new-happy-song in the face of a dismal morning.

Yes, I finally broke down and bought it…the slew iPod ads during the Emmys last night was the last straw in the war of attrition by Fiest. Nothing like banjo, strings, girl with cute voice, snaps…and horns. Polyphonic Spree…your influence is everywhere.

So I encourage you to check it out. 1234 by Fiest.

p.s. TVSquad is about to crack as well…I wonder how much artists are paying Apple to be in their ads. What you don’t think that’s how it works? ;)

  • Matt, you goon! I’ve been raving about Feist (via the martha) for a year now! I even played her first album for you whilst we fiddles with some random elec-device back whenever! Good stuff, eh?

  • Definitely good stuff…and sorry I was too dense to pick up on it then. I did get hip to it eventually. :)
