Friday Night Picnic

Nothing like a Friday night picnic with scrabble, chinese food and the girlfriend. Life doesn’t get much better than this.

Peace, Man.

If you’ve ever lived in Lawrence, or spent any time downtown, this illustration depicts a pretty familiar site. And if the artist’s rendition isn’t ringing any bells, think purple hat? Got it? Good.

I caught this on the kwik-shop-trash-can across from my office yesterday. I’m curious to see if anyone else has seen one around town?

Also, I hate my cameraphone…

Rumors of this weblog’s death have been greatly exaggerated

First up, sorry about the lack of posts lately. Been busy as Teressa and I are still enjoying our new found nights and weekend freedom (sounds like a calling plan of some kind)…so blogging has taken sort of a back seat. Here is the run-down as to what has been happening.

Work is starting to kick into busy mode and needless to say I’m excited. Also, we’re hiring an intern…and I have no idea how that’s going to work out, but it will be neat to have a mini-me for a while. I’m still plugging along through the Pixel Corps training. The thing I like most about their training is that the only person I have to blame is myself for not learning things…excellent motivation for exploring new apps.

Finally, here are some pics from last weeks annual trip to Clinton Lake. The one on the right is hands down my favorite. As I’ve said before, machine’s do have personalities. :)

P.S. Hat tip to Twain for the headline.
