A President once said
While I’m not the biggest Randy Newman fan in the world, a verse from his performance at the Macworld 2008 Keynote really struck me:
“A President once said,
“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”
Now it seems like we’re supposed to be afraid

How far we’ve fallen, but at least now we have a chance to pick ourselves up.
Another day at the office
For those wondering what I do all day long at work…well, today it was this. Now it’s not the most complex node tree ever, feature films require much more complex composites. However, I’m pretty darn proud of the green screen key it creates. Definitely worth an afternoon to flesh it out as it’s going to save two days of rotoscoping. i.e. Tracing around the subject frame by frame by frame etc…
Busy-flix
February is going to be a busy month of netflixing.
If you have netflix be sure to add me as a friend and scoff at my movie choices.
p.s. I just realized that the picture might create the appearance that netflix takes months to ship new movies. Nothing could be further from the truth. I usually get a new movie two days after I mail in the old one. The movies pictured above are not released on DVD until February, hence their unavailability. Sorry for the confusion. Carry on with your Monday.
