Hello….I’m in the middle of receiving a tutorial on how to use the KU Library database, and I thought it would be a good time for a post.

I have officially hit new heights in the realm of procrastination. While the title of this blog may be “A complete lack of apathy…,” procrastination has managed to creep in. I have an exam this evening in what should be the easiest class I have…Pop Culture of the 1940s. I know, I know it sounds like just another pud, senior graduating this semester class, but it is actually required for the completion of my so called “degree.”

As I said before procrastination has hit, and it has hit with brute force of the impending completion of my undergraduate career. I had just finished enjoying The Incredibles with the girlfriend last night as it had just come out on DVD yesterday. Anyway, I had finished the film (which is great!) with every intention of cracking down on the homework…instead info-tainment got in the way.

Needless to say blogs, computer upgrades, The Incredibles extra features, freeware, iTunes and the like assaulted my plan and has left me at this point not so much worried but annoyed at myself for my lack of focus…internships, summer jobs, and life in general seems to be keeping me from accomplishing my academic studies.

On the more artistic side of life, Ben and I whipped up a short film for his photography class. Start to finish it only took 6 hours to shoot and edit, however it is definitely a proof of concept and a rough edit, but I like it and it was a nice chance to flex some creative muscles.

Hopefully Ben and I can re-shoot, re-cut it Thursday night and whip out a much more fully realized version…I hope.

Anyway, got one test today and another tomorrow…and so is the life of a college student. Also, check out the latest album I purchased (see sidebar). Its a great acoustic set from Alt Rock fav Clem Snide. Definitely worth the four Pepsi iTunes free tracks!
